ISRAEL

Location - Middle East; Capital - Jerusalem; Population - 7 million; Currency - New Israeli Sheqel MORE ISRAEL

Besides Paris as a child this was my first trip abroad, in 1989. I arranged a spot on a kibbutz in Israel, a few miles from Nahariya in northern Israel.

Apologies for the poor quality of the photos - I blame my 110 camera..
